Good Friday
Good Friday Service – 10:30 AM
This Good Friday, join us for a reflective and contemplative service at 10:30 AM as we pause to remember the sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Together, we will spend time in prayer, meditation, and worship, reflecting on His death and the profound love He displayed on the cross.
In this sacred moment, we invite you to take a deep breath, quiet your heart, and allow space for the weight of His sacrifice to settle in. We will also look forward with hope, anticipating His promised return and the eternal life He has prepared for us.
Whether you're joining in person or virtually, this service offers a moment to draw closer to God and renew your faith in the hope that Jesus' death brings.

Easter Eggstravaganza – A Community Celebration!
Join us for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and community at our Easter Eggstravaganza, April 19th, from 1:00-3:00 PM! This exciting event is packed with carnival-style games, where kids can play, win prizes, and enjoy the Easter spirit.
Child will also receive a special goodie bag to take home—while supplies last! It’s the perfect way to celebrate Easter with family and friends in a fun and welcoming environment.
Don’t miss out on the excitement! We can’t wait to see you there for an unforgettable time of games, treats, and community joy.
Easter Sunday
Celebrate the joy and victory of the resurrection with us this Easter Sunday at 10 AM! Together, we will worship and give thanks for the life, death, and triumphant return of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. It’s a day of renewed hope, joy, and celebration of the new life we have in Him.
Bring your family and friends for a powerful service filled with inspiring music, a powerful message, and the love of our risen Lord. And for the kids, we have a special treat! There might be an Easter egg hunt in the sanctuary – shh! Make sure to keep an eye out for hidden treasures!
Come celebrate with us this Easter, and let’s rejoice in the hope of new beginnings!
Kids are dismissed to Kid's Church from Worship. Please check-in in the main foyer before the service. If it is your first time you'll need to register your child(ren).

Leaten Prayer Workshops
April 6 & 13
During the season of Lent, join us on select Sundays in the Sanctuary after Church for a brief period of quiet reflection and directed prayer. We will engage in scriptural meditation, exploring themes such as lamentation, praise, meditation, divine communication, and intercession. A short guided prayer session will be provided for those seeking a deeper connection with God during Lent.
You are welcome to pray on your own or with a group - Children are welcome to pray with their parents!
Easter Art Workshop
Sat, April 12
1-4pm
Come join us for a time of joyful art creation as we prepare ourselves to celebrate what Jesus has accomplished for us on the cross. This workshop is led by Rev. Dr. Joyce Chan, a CBWC ordained minister, Principal and Professor at Canadian Chinese School of Theology Vancouver and a certified art therapist.
You will go home with an Easter themed acrylic painting. No experience required. Age 12-99 are welcomed!
$20 per person. Please reserve your spot by April 5 at the Info Desk on Sundays, or with the office at office@wrbc.ca or 604-531-2344. Payment at the door.
