Serve with us.
Men! We have an amazing opportunity for you to make an eternal impact in boys' lives! Our Kids Ministry is looking for men, who love Jesus and kids, to lead a small group of boys on Sunday mornings. This fulfills our values of taking deliberate action to build community, share Jesus and grow in faith. Teaching is done by others, in a large group. Your job would be to lead discussion, ask questions and connect with the boys. Lesson plans provided.
It is said that by the age of 13 most people have already formed a religious belief system which they will hold throughout their entire lives. Because of this, we believe our teachers have a tremendous opportunity to help shape the spiritual and moral foundation for the children of our church. One of the ways we accomplish this goal is by trying to provide the children with loving and caring Sunday School Teachers.
Here’s what you need to do if you’d like to apply
- fill out a volunteer application
- complete a criminal record check
- meet for an interview
- Sharing faith with a child builds and inspires your own!
- Serving shows children that everyone serves everyone!
- God uses all types of people to reach all types of people!
Help with sign-in and/or security for our kids ministry starting in September!
So how about it? Why don’t you give it a go? At least for a season. Consider the impact you could make in the life of the team, the church …or even just one child. Be prepared for God to do something big with your availability and willingness.
Contact Lisa@whiterockbaptist.ca know if you can help!
Thanks so much!
A WRBC value is "Building Community" - being involved in loving relationships. One way to do this is to join or lead a Life Group. Nothing is more important than our, and others, relationships with Jesus Christ. Life Group Leaders help others grow in relationship with Christ and others, as they grow themselves.
