The kids, at the ROCK, want to thank Fay Puddicombe for the Valentine’s Day goodie bags. Fay, thanks for making the kids feel special. A shout out, as well, to Sheila Brew for the Valentine’s Day cookies. Your love and support for me and the kids mean so much. ~Lisa
Salva Alexandrov played Russian music on the balalaika. It's a Russian stringed musical instrument with a characteristic triangular wooden, hollow body and three strings. Two strings are usually tuned to the same note and the third string is a perfect fourth higher. He is known for his red boots.
Being able to provide help to anyone at any time is a powerful thing, that's why we purchased an AED. St John's Ambulance was on site to teach the staff and ushers how to use the automated external defibrillator on both kids and adults. Annie was successfully revived by Lisa and she continues to teach others.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the Lunar New Year with us and to those who worked so hard to make this event possible. The pictures show how much fun we had and it was great to celebrate together as a family.
We had a smaller class this week, some of the kids were sick, but still had tons of fun! I’m so thankful for the fun games Darrell Adrian plans for the kids. We pray every week for God to protect them kids.
Love doing life with this group! We had so much fun cleaning Jennifer Friesen’s old house so they could get their damage deposit back. We had the whole house cleaned in under 2 hours!! Praying for the Friesen family (Al, Jen, Blake, Amy, Anna and Owen) as they settle in their new home and praying God to use them in their new neighbourhood to impact the world! ~Lisa
